According to the Mayo Clinic, we all need to laugh more; it’s medicine. Literally. Medical data indicates that the short-term benefits of laughter are stress relief and larger intakes of oxygen. The long-term benefits include a stronger immune system and pain relief – all great reasons to buy a ticket or two to the 9th Annual Comedy Night. Proceeds from the event benefit the South Florida Chapter of the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation.
The “feel-good for everyone” event has sold out so often, that Foundation is moving its 2018 show to a larger venue, the Coral Springs Center for Performing Arts in Coral Springs, 2855 Coral Springs Drive.
The 9th Annual Comedy Night will welcome nationally-known comedic talent Tom Papa at 6 p.m. on Thursday, October 18, 2018. Tickets are $75 for general admission (on sale August 31) with VIP upgrade options, and can be purchased by visiting http://comedynightcrohnscolitisfoundation.weebly.com. Sponsorships at various levels from $250 to $25,000 are also available. For more information, or to sponsor this event, contact Jennifer McCorvey at 561-218-2929 Ext. 2 or jmccorvey@crohnscolitisfoundation.org.
