Back to School Splash

The 7th annual Back to School Splash event at Sugar Sand Park Community Center is the perfect way to wave goodbye to summer and slide into the new school year! On Wednesday, August 8 from 10am – 1pm, families can enjoy water slides, a field of bubbles, make & takes, giveaways, prizes drawings, music, and more at this free outdoor event.

Kids ages 5 – 12 can enjoy the following:

• Unlimited access to four big water slides
• NEW – a water spraying inflatable elephant
• Crafts and games
• Vendors and class instructors
• Learn about new fall programs
• Enter to win prizes – restaurant gift card; tickets to South Florida Science Center and Xtreme  Action Park; Explorium program admission; and school supplies
• Concessions will be available for purchase from Tomasso’s Pizza (plus hotdogs, burgers, fries and more), Mr. Ice Guy Italian ices, and Good Humor ice cream.

Back to School Splash is geared toward kids ages 5 – 12, and is weather permitting. Guests should remember sunscreen, bug spray, bottled water, towels, hats, and a change of dry clothes if planning to visit the indoor Children’s Science Explorium or spend time inside the Community Center.
