Fur baby fans: this one’s for you! Proceeds will benefit the Humane Society of Greater Miami

Bobbi Dick will be at Books & Books in Coral Gables promoting her new book ‘1 9: The Story of Blanchette’ on Wednesday, May 15 at 7 p.m. Proceeds from the sale of the book with benefit the Humane Society of Greater Miami. The night will start with a champagne reception from 7 – 7:45 p.m., it will move on to a Q&A with Bobbi from 7:45- 8:45 p.m. and will end with a book signing from 8:45 – 9 p.m.

In this charming children’s book aimed at grownups, 1 9: The Story of Blanchette is told by a white, toy poodle named Blanchette via her adoring, human Mom named Bobbi. 60 years in the making, it’s the heartwarming tail-wagging, tale of how one dog and her nine cat “siblings” created and completed a loving family unit. Moral of Bobbi’s story: Pets enhance life. Bobbi is committed to helping dogs and cats find their forever families.
