In this fun, process-oriented class, students will be encouraged to tap into their creative source. Focusing on painting from your inner being, you’ll discover your authentic style of mark making, palette, and imagery Through guided step-by-step prompts and demos at the start of each class you’ll allow your paintings to emerge. This is not a class about replicating a particular image or style or copying photos. Rather, the course encourages you to think outside the box and explore what is intuitive and organic to you. There will be instruction in color, paint mixing, composition, layering and the use of various tools; however, the focus will be to nurture you to dive into creativity. There are no “mistakes” in this class, only opportunities to let go of preconceived notions and build confidence. The class is open to anyone with a desire to play and discover.
