Letter to the Future – Curating COVID- 19

January 1, 1970 @ 12:00 am

It is the job of the Boca Raton Historical Society & Museum, (BRHS&M), as the keepers of the history of Boca Raton, to preserve meaningful, factual, and personal stories. In response to COVID-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic they are inviting members of the Boca Raton community to participate in their Curating COVID-19 initiative so that future generations will understand this unprecedented time in our history.

Residents, of all ages, are encouraged to explain how COVID-19 has impacted their lives by contributing to their “Letters to the Future” project. You may submit written accounts, photographs, drawings, and/or videos. All submissions will be reviewed by the museum’s curators and will be archived. Selected stories will be shared on social media, compiled on their website under the Spanish River Papers section, and displayed in a temporary on-site exhibit in 2021.  They are asking you to send your submissions to research@bocahistory.org with the subject line “Letters to the Future” or mail them to 71 N. Federal Highway, Boca Raton, FL 33432.

You can follow BRHS&M on social media @Bocahistory with #IAmBocaRaton
