Boca’s own Rachel Frazin will be at Barnes and Noble in Boca on Saturday, June 21, from 2:00pm to 4:00 pm, to discuss her new book “Poisoning the Well: How Forever Chemicals Contaminated America.” The book tells the true story of how toxic chemicals known as PFAS have contaminated drinking water and seeped into the bloodstream of virtually every American. It contains shoe-leather reporting in four highly contaminated towns and damning documents from the polluters’ own files to trace ugly history of corporate greed and devastation of human lives. It has received praise from activist Erin Brockovich, who called it “an important, disturbing, and beautifully crafted exposé.” Rachel was born and raised in Boca Raton, and is currently an energy and environment reporter for The Hill in Washington D.C.
