We are bringing back TEDx Talks to Delray Beach after a decade. We aim to provide a platform to present and discuss new ideas, trends, issues that affect our local and global community, innovative products, hidden talent and local heroes. We have a wonderful team of curators and creative directors who have been working very diligently to make this happen. We are run by and for the community.
Our Theme this year:���“The Ripple Effect“���The ripple effect is often used to refer to a multiplicative effect, unlike the domino effect serving only one direction.���In physics, the Huygen-Fresnel principle states that every point on a wave front is itself the source of spherical wavelets, these mutually interfere and form a new wavefront.���In sociology, the ripple effect is observed in how individual interactions can affect the overall dynamics, often reorganizing the system into a new normal. Information and therefore behavior can be both quickly and slowly spread, locally and globally. We want to emphasize the role we all play as the medium where ideas propagate.
