And you thought Delray was all about the fun. Well, we’ve got that in spades, but it appears Delray is stylin’ too—next week the Delray Beach Downtown Development Authority (DDA) in partnership with the Palm Beach Convention and Visitors Bureau, will celebrate Fashion Night Out (FNO), a huge event in the fashion world that began in New York in 2009 to get consumers revved up and throw a spotlight on the industry. Fashion is huge these days (look at all the reality TV shows dedicated to it) and Delray is getting in on the action next Thursday, September 6 with several free events.Here’s a sampling: Roxy Lulu Boutique will showcase its new line of fashions and share a little bubbly; Kismet Vintage Clothing will have a party from 6 to 9 p.m.; Old Vines Wine and Spirits is having a wine tasting and fashion show by Hy Ma Hy Pa Boutique from 5:30-7:30 p.m. (followed by open house event at Hy Ma Hy Pa); Zen Dali is having an open house showcasing Jen Scoz designs from 6 to 10 p.m.; The Legacy will be showing its fall collection and Karma, a new shop on Atlantic Avenue, will be hosting a night of fashion from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
