What a whirlwind of a week we just had covering Delray Beach Fashion Week! Once again, the Delray Beach Downtown Development Authority did an amazing job of showcasing all local boutiques, designers, restaurants and businesses.

We’re honored to be a part of these events year after year. So, let’s get started on our recap because we’ve got a lot to cover.

Fashion Royale: Evening & Designer Wear Show

Delray Beach Fashion Week kicked off with the Fashion Royale: Evening & Designer Wear Show hosted by our favorite mom bloggers, Local Mom Scoop and Pellerini (also known as SoFlo Moms on the Go) and local designer and “Project Runway” contestant, Amanda Perna. Despite the intense amount of wind, it was a perfect night! This was a live runway show right on the streets of Atlantic Avenue in front of The Colony Hotel. Local retailers and designers spotlighted their evening wear collections while stylists, salons and makeup artists showcased their talents in beauty. Pre- and post-show entertainment was provided by Edge Effect: A Cappella Group and they were fantastic. Here are some of our favorite looks from the show:

For Your Eyes Only: In-Store Shopping Event Throughout Downtown

Thursday brought a little something different with the For Your Eyes Only: In-Store Shopping Event Throughout Downtown event. For the first time in Delray Beach Fashion Week history, attendees were able to shop the runway with participating retailers in Downtown Delray Beach. They were welcomed with passed apps and a champagne reception at Brule Bistro, a fashion week swag bag, transportation to participating stores, and a chance to win prizes when they shopped.

Shaken Not Stirred Fashion Show

Thursday was a very special night, because Jule Guaglardi-Zelman of Zelman Style Interior Designer co-hosted the Shaken Not Stirred Fashion Show at Il Bacio with Frank McKinney. The event benefited a very important charity to both of them, Caring House Project and the Caribbean Tourism Organization.

Fashion is Forever: Resort Wear Luncheon, Show, & Silent Auction

Aside from the event we hosted, this was definitely our favorite event of the week, and continues to be year after year. The Fashion is Forever: Resort Wear Luncheon, Show, & Silent Auction took place Friday morning at Che Restaurant and was hosted by Amanda Perna and Jule Guaglardi-Zelman. Local boutiques and salons premiered their Resortwear 2019 Collections on the Intercoastal Waterway with an inclusive silent auction, entertainment and a delicious lunch.

License to Swim: Swimwear Show

Last but not least, the Delray DDA closed out fashion week with the License to Swim: Swimwear Show hosted by yours truly, LLScene, and our beautiful co-host, Jule Guaglardi-Zelman. What a night this turned into! Originally scheduled to take place outside at the Old School Square, the License to Swim Show was moved inside into the Old School Square parking lot garage. The Delray DDA team did an incredible job transforming the garage into a full-on runway show–we were beyond impressed.

Delray Beach is a resort town filled with swim and surf styles, which were spotlighted on over 40 local models and available at shops and boutiques right here in Downtown Delray Beach. We absolutely loved being a part of this event and hosting with Jule. Here are some of our favorite swimwear looks and trends of 2019:
