Local hunger relief nonprofit Feeding South Florida is hosting a “Wine & Bourbon Experience” tomorrow, Dec. 5, at its Boynton Beach warehouse location. The event, which runs from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m., will include tastings and light bites for guests alongside live music, a raffle and a silent auction. Proceeds will go toward its programs to help local families facing food insecurity.
Currently, in South Florida, there are more than 1.1 million food insecure individuals, and one in nine individuals in South Florida remain uncertain about where they will get their next meal due to inflation, the strained supply chain, and increased housing costs among other factors.
