Fiolina Pasta House, the first restaurant to debut at Midtown Boca’s Restaurant Row, has closed.
Opened last year by renowned chef Fabio Trabocchi—who launched the Michelin-starred Fiola in Washington D.C.—Fiolina’s offerings included housemade pastas and regionally-inspired dishes from Italy. In our review of Fiolina Pasta House from November 2023, we said that “Fiolina is swanky, effortlessly easing itself into Boca’s idyllic, sophisticated style,” but noted criticisms of some of the dishes.
There were no formal announcements of the restaurant’s closing, and all Fiolina social media accounts have been deactivated.
According to an article by the Palm Beach Post, the Fiolina space will be taken over by Motek, a kosher-style Mediterranean concept with locations throughout Miami. The opening is schedule for early 2025.
