Local fans of H&M continue to keep their fingers crossed that the Swedish retailer will one day break into the Boca market. In the meantime, there are H&Ms well within driving distance on tap for this fall.
On the heels of CityPlace announcing it will welcome a 19,000-square-foot H&M to downtown West Palm Beach is word that The Mall at Wellington Green(10300 W. Forest Hill Blvd., 561/227-6900) is opening an even larger space for the global fashion retailer.
The Wellington mall branch of H&M (Hennes & Mauritz) will cover some 26,000 square feet. As a local style seeker, this haven is one of my personal favorite stores, as they offer high fashion trends at affordable prices. Since debuting on New York’s Fifth Avenue 13 years ago, H&M has exploded in the States with approximately 275 locations (including one at the Gardens Mall in Palm Beach Gardens).
Chic collections will be available for all members of the family at the new Wellington store, where shoppers will find stylish clothing and accessories for ladies, men, young ladies and young men. There also will be separate “store within a store” sections for accessories, lingerie, sports apparel, maternity, H&M’s plus size, and H&M+. Don’t forget about the little ones: This new location will sport H&M’s fabulous children’s line, which features quality clothing for kids ages newborn to 14.
