Ok, so all bets are off for the next few weeks; we are talking cookies, eggnog, mashed potatoes—those kind of bets. So we think it makes perfect sense to up your game in this regard and head to Proper Ice Cream to sample some holiday flavors—or maybe serve them at a party for dessert.
Our ice cream guru and Proper owner Rickey Felberbaum tells us that the seasonal flavors include “Proper Noel,” which is candy cane ice cream with chocolate swirl in a sweet cream base; “Deep chocolate Peppermint Patty” made with real peppermint patties and buttered rum and an eggnog. Did you hear that last one? Seriously?
Felberbaum says they have also added soft serve custards, as if all that were not enough. I say it’s time to live it up, have the treat, seize the moment.
