The ballroom at Boca West Country Club roared with applause as the 2025 grant winners of Impact 100 Palm Beach County were announced.
The group’s 827 members pooled together $827,000—plus an additional $10,000 donation from the Junior League of Boca Raton—to award money to 12 southern Palm Beach County charities.
“Every dollar we award is a direct result of women coming together, pooling their resources, and putting purpose into action,” said Jeannine Morris, co-president of Impact 100 Palm Beach County. “This model of collective giving is not only efficient—it’s transformative.”
Members each commit to $1,000, allowing Impact 100 to give eight nonprofits $100,000 and four more nonprofits a smaller merit grant. During the luncheon, members and guests hear from each of the nonprofits as they present a pitch of how they would use the grant money; members then vote.
Since Impact 100’s inception 14 years ago, members have donated $7.75 million in grants to 124 nonprofits. The goal is to eventually reach 1,000 members to pool together $1 million in grants.
