Yep, another high-profile Miami restaurant will be setting up shop in Boca Raton.

Joining luxe Chinese specialist Philippe Chow, set to open this month in the old downtown III Forks space, will be the equally posh Red The Steakhouse, which expects to debut in West Boca’s Wyndham Garden hotel sometime in November, according to restaurant marketing director Rosemary Staltare.

The new Red’s menu will be “very similar” to Miami’s, she said, which means certified Angus USDA Prime beef, wet-aged for 30 days, and customizable with sauces from green peppercorn to chimichurri and toppings from blue cheese to Oscar style: asparagus, bearnaise and king crab.

In addition to the Boca meatery, the Cleveland-based Red also has plans to open steakhouses in Chicago and Washington, D.C. Why Boca? Well, Staltare said, many of Red’s best customers either have vacation homes in the area or flee the brutal Ohio winters for our balmier climes and were missing their favorite steakhouse.

Red’s also has something else local up its sleeve, she added. But we’ll have to wait for a few weeks to see what that is.
