It’s that time of year again. One of the merriest seasons of all is finally here. No, it’s not Christmas, Thanksgiving, or Hanukkah. It’s stone crab season!

To celebrate this occasion, Catch & Cut is hosting a kickoff party on Friday, Oct. 17, opening early exclusively for the stone crab festivities that run from noon to 11 p.m. Guests will be treated to a complimentary glass of Perrier-Jouët Champagne, and there will also be a Beluga Vodka martini and caviar bar for an extra special treat.

If you’re heading to Miami, make sure to check out chef Michael Schwartz’s two concepts: Amara at Paraiso and Michael’s Genuine, which will both be serving the claws as well from now until May 1. The award-winning chef prides himself on working directly with local fishermen to ensure the freshest catches are delivered the same day for his guests’ enjoyment. Fun fact: During the season, they receive about 100 pounds of crabs a week! amaraatparaiso.com; michaelsgenuine.com
