The Junior League of Boca Raton’s (JLBR) Woman Volunteer of the Year Luncheon and Fashion Show will be held on Friday, Nov. 4 at Boca West Country Club located at 20583 Boca West Drive in Boca Raton. The champagne welcome reception will begin at 11 a.m., with lunch and the event program taking place at 12 p.m.
Kathy Assaf has been named Honorary Chair and Amy Procacci, Ashley Huxhold and Reilly Glasser will serve as event co-chairs, as announced by JLBR president Jamie Sauer.
The Woman Volunteer of the Year Luncheon and Fashion Show is a longstanding tradition with a goal of celebrating, empowering, and rewarding 35 women who have selflessly given their time and talents to nonprofit organizations throughout Palm Beach and Northern Broward Counties. These women are catalysts for positive change in South Florida with a shared focus on service and philanthropy.
This year’s event marks its 35th anniversary as the gala season kickoff here in South Florida. Diamond level event tickets are $200, and include wine, beer, and lunch with champagne provided upon arrival. The luncheon will also host a silent auction and raffle. Notable items include a stay at a private condo in Mexico, a 14 karat three row tennis bracelet crafted by Odelia By Av Jewelry and valued at $5,000, and a pair of 14k pavé diamond hoop earrings valued at $4,600, both generously donated by Diamonds Direct.

Purchase a chance to win a Saint Laurent large Logo Mix Matelassé leather satchel handbag in stone grey with a retail value of $2,290, donated by Saks Fifth Avenue, as a part of the event’s “Get the Bag Raffle.” Tickets are available for $100 each and only 150 tickets will be sold.
Join JLBR for a fabulous after party (tickets are available for $100 at www.jlbr.org). The continued celebration includes an open bar, appetizers and a DJ, and will take place in the hybrid indoor/private garden at Boca West Country Club immediately following the award luncheon.
Event proceeds benefit the Junior League of Boca Raton’s mission of child welfare, community support and developing the potential of women. Junior League volunteers dedicate more than 25,000 volunteer hours and more than $250,000 per year to many organizations tasked with the reality of solving these issues each day. A variety of sponsorships are available for the event, and your gift to JLBR helps make a direct impact to JLBR’s philanthropic focus areas.
The JLBR is honored to partner with the Boca Raton Regional Hospital Foundation and Christine E. Lynn Women’s Health & Wellness Institute as the Award Sponsor. Bloomingdale’s will produce a state-of-the-art fashion runway show that will entertain and inspire luncheon guests. Boca Raton Innovation Campus (BRIC) hosted this year’s kickoff event and Oceans 234 sponsored a nominee meet-and-greet. The media sponsor is Boca Raton Magazine.
