Palm Beach design can’t be contained, and for the 2026 Kips Bay Decorator Show House, they’ll be using two houses for the first time.

Now in its ninth year, the event invites interior designers to stake claim to a space in a home in West Palm Beach to transform to their style. Designers can go wild, experimenting with colors, textures, decor and themes.

For 2026, the event opens to the public on Feb. 25 for one month. “The Intracoastal House” at 3410 N. Flagler Drive in Northwood Shores will be the first house to be transformed; the 4,500-square-foot waterfront house boasts five bedrooms, five full bathrooms, a movie room, sauna, private dock, 50-foot pool, summer kitchen, and other attributes where designers can experiment.

This year, the Kips Bay Decorator Show House has added a second property, “The Palm Cottage” across the street. The smaller three-bedroom, 2.5-bath house is a cozier retreat exuding Old Florida.

All the design fun is for a good cause; proceeds benefit the Palm Beach Boys & Girls Club. The event is an expansion from the decorator show house in Kips Bay, New York, which first started in 1973. In 2020, the Dallas showhouse was included.
