It’s time for a laugh. In fact, it’s way past time for a laugh. Which is why I am sooooo looking forward to this year’s Laugh With The Library fundraiser for The Delray Beach Library. This has got to be in my Top Three favorite events of the year—fun from start to finish. The cocktails and dinner by the bite before the event is a laid-back and un-stuffy party where you know a million people, followed by big comfy tables for the show (with a bar and desserts in the back) and the comedian is always, always very funny. Within the first hour, my cheeks hurt from laughing.
This year’s Chapter 12 party (which always sells out) will feature comedian Don Gavin and will be at the Delray Beach Marriot on Feb. 2. Our own Delray magazine will sponsor a special VIP luxe table (you can spin a wheel and take a chance to win it!) or you can just join the rest of us—in what is arguably the feel-good party of the year.
The cost for Laugh With The Library is $220 per person, $2,000 for a table of ten, and $2,500 for our exclusive party table, include a party bucket of wine and champagne.
