Atlantic Avenue’s Lionfish is hosting a local beach cleanup to celebrate Earth Day. The day of awareness and support for environmental protection falls on Friday so if you happen to have the day off, join the festivities that start at 9 a.m.

The cleanup gang will meet on the corner of Atlantic and A1A and take charge of trash pick-up until 11 a.m. After that, head to Lionfish where beach cleanup participants will receive a complimentary cocktail and 10% of food sales will benefit the Surfrider Foundation, a national foundation with a local Palm Beach chapter that focuses on preserving our oceans and beaches. Don’t forget to check out the month-long April specials that include the crispy lionfish roll and swordfish belly sliders.

Lionfish and Menin Development have partnered with The Ray Hotel, One Door North, Johnnie Brown’s, Delray Beach Market, Ember Grill, Rosewater Rooftop, Akira Back, Stingers, Crane’s Beach House, Surfrider Foundation, Maya Bleu, Nomad Surf Shop, Delray Surf Club, Beach Keepers, and Grey Goose for this 2nd Annual Earth Day event.
