Top bartenders from Boca Raton, Boynton Beach and Delray Beach are facing off for the Battle of the Beaches Cocktail Showdown.
Presented by the mixology masterminds at Boynton Beach’s most beloved craft cocktail spots, The Butcher & The Bar, Driftwood, and Sweetwater will bring together nine local bartenders who will compete across three preliminary rounds, with the top three advancing to the final round where the victor will be awarded with prizes and—more importantly—bragging rights. Here are the competitors:

- Daniela Villasana from Park Tavern
- Myles Robinson from Penelope
- Aiden Turner from Radcliffe’s Speakeasy & Supper Club
- Maizie Betz from Ravish Off Ocean
- Matthew Swig from The Butcher & The Bar
- Ayn Koder from Warren Delray
- Sweetwater bartender TBD
One thing is for sure, no matter who comes out on top, local libation lovers are the real winners. Rounds will be hosted at The Butcher & The Bar, Driftwood, or Sweetwater, each of which will host live DJ music, and offer complimentary spirit tastings and light bites available for purchase.
Contenders will be judged by a panel of three local hospitality and media personalities, plus one lucky randomly selected audience member; beverages will be assessed based on their presentation, taste and creativity. After a victor emerges from the final round on Nov. 11, a celebratory post party will be held at Driftwood on Nov. 25.
All events are free to attend and no reservations are required. Here is the tournament schedule:
- Round 1 – Sept. 9 at 6 p.m. at The Butcher & The Bar
- Round 2 – Sept. 30 at 6 p.m. at Sweetwater
- Round 3 – Oct. 14 at 6 p.m. at The Butcher & The Bar
- Final Round – Nov. 11 at 6 p.m. at Sweetwater
- Post Party – Nov. 25 at 6 p.m. at Driftwood
