Good Karma Pet Rescue is asking for support to raise funds for Sassy, a 5-month-old kitten battling a rare condition.

Sassy, a 4-pound orange kitten described by Good Karma Pet Rescue as “a loving, playful kitten who deserves a full life,” was born with atresia ani, a congenital defect where the body doesn’t form a rectal opening. The defect requires expensive surgical correction for Sassy to survive. Following the surgery, Sassy will need a home, and will be available for adoption. The GoFundMe goal for Sassy’s surgery is $1000, of which $715 has been raised as of writing. To donate, click here.
