This week, Max’s Grille will host two Carlos & Pepe’s pop-up dinners, one on Wednesday, Aug. 28 and another on Thursday, Aug. 29. Burt Rapoport (of Rapaport’s Restaurant Group) and chef Carlos Pugliese were two of the original founders of the since-shuttered Mexican restaurant. The “Carlos Returns!” pop-up dinner will showcase original recipes that Pugliese created decades ago. The menu will include dishes like super nachos, Mexican pizza, crab enchiladas, southwestern chicken tacos, and the beef burrito. To make reservations, click here.
