If you haven’t caught what chef Chris Miracolo is doing at Dennis Max’s terrific new Max’s Harvest (169 SE 2nd Ave., 561/381-9970), the downtown Delray eatery is making it that much more tempting with the debut next Monday of a three-course prix fixe tasting menu.

Sunday through Friday, from 5 to 7 p.m., (5 to 6 p.m. on Saturday), $29 per person will get you an appetizer, entrée and dessert (with optional cheese course). From 7 p.m. until closing the price goes to $37.

Next week’s menu offers a choice of five appetizers and entrees and two desserts. Among the choices: bourbon-maple-glazed heritage pork belly and local ricotta gnocchi with leek and fennel fondue and truffle oil; papardelle with roasted Florida lamb and pan-roasted Maine diver scallops with three-onion risotto; and flourless chocolate cake and house-made donuts with vanilla custard and fruit preserves.

There’s wine too: 14 whites, 10 reds and two ports to be paired with your dinner, priced from $4 to $9 for a three-ounce pour.

The menu will change weekly so there’s no excuse not to check this place out. It’s one of the best restaurants around.
