The Michelin Guide and the James Beard Awards are both celebrating several Miami restaurants.

The acclaimed dining guide has added six Miami restaurants to its guide as recommended restaurants. While this doesn’t mean they received a coveted star, it does mean that they’re on Michelin’s radar and now they should be on yours too. The concepts include Cotoa (Ecuadorian), Grand Central (unique bistro), Itamae AO (Peruvian), Palma (global plates), Sereia (Portuguese) and Torno Subito (Italian).

The James Beard Awards announced its semifinalists last week. Those include Ghee Indian Kitchen for Outstanding Restaurant, Macchialina for Outstanding Wine and Other Beverages Program, Café La Trova for Outstanding Bar, Vice Versa for Best New Bar, Allegra Angelo at Vinya Table for Outstanding Professional in Beverage Service and Nando Chang of Itamae AO for Best Chef in the South. Award nominees will be announced on April 2, and winners on June 16.

Congratulations to all of them!
