The crew renovating Mizner Country Club’s Main Clubhouse got a little extra help with the demolition thanks to the community’s junior construction team.
The lauded Delray Beach country club is in the early stages of renovating its clubhouse, and step one is tearing down the old to make way for the new. For this task, kids from the Mizner Country Club community were handed shovels, hammers and crowbars to break down the facility. While the kids enjoyed busting walls and counters, they learned from the Proctor Construction Group the steps that go into executing such an ambitious renovation.
The redesign overhaul touches every part of the clubhouse, aiming to create a more modern aesthetic that will leave a lasting impression on members and guests. Perhaps the most anticipated facelift will be to One Mile Bar & Grill, which will feature a new outdoor seating area for alfresco dining and elevated culinary offerings. The Dining Room will also receive improvements, as will the restrooms.
“This renovation reflects our commitment to continually improving our Club for the benefit of our members and guests,” said Mizner Clubhouse Manager Mackenzie Lalov,” The support of our entire membership—including our junior construction team—is making this project possible, and we look forward to creating an iconic addition to our community.”
