Tall Boy

What was old is new again. The former Whistle Stop bar has been redesigned and its original 1981 name, Tall Boy, is back. Named after the double-stack freight trains that zip behind the property, the local dive bar has been given a makeover with new seasonal cocktails, live music, karaoke, game nights and much more.

Lily’s Handmade Ice Cream

Peppermint Stick from Lily’s Handmade Ice Cream

This homegrown ice cream brand known for its playful flavors has expanded from Delray into North Miami Beach and most recently Boynton Beach. The shops, owned by the Gilinsky family, have quickly grown in popularity thanks to their rotating ice cream selections created by flavor architect Ori Gilinsky and his dedication to all-natural, preservative- and additive-free ingredients. Signature scoops include Dusty Monkey, a brown-sugar-infused banana ice cream with Biscoff cookies and the Fairy Floss, a cotton candy ice cream with rainbow sprinkles and frosted Animal Crackers. This month, Ori has debuted the Peppermint Stick, mint ice cream with crushed candy canes.
