Boca and Delray are getting a delectable infusion of Asian restaurants thanks to three stellar brands expanding into the area.

Taki Omakase

Delray Beach’s hottest new omakase just opened a new location in Boca Raton. The chef counter experience will run you $200, but you will not walk out hungry. The 20-course menu features the highest quality fish and ingredients, and the chefs will make you feel comfortable and relaxed throughout your culinary journey.

The noteworthy brand will soon land in Boca. With 14 locations throughout the country, Sushi by Bou will bring its famous omakase experience to local diners next month. Taking over the former AlleyCat location (that recently moved to the former Rebel House location), the restaurant invites guests to a 60-minute omakase that includes 12 courses for $60 and 17 courses for $125. Founder and chef David Bouhadana is a Boca native who also owns Sunset Sushi on Federal Highway and is chef Eric Baker’s partner in AlleyCat Izakaya.

Yakitori Sushi House

Yakitori King, Sexy Lady and Triple Sexy from Yakitori Sushi House

One of East Boca’s favorite sushi restaurants has expanded into west Delray. Yakitori Sushi House is now open at the Tuscany Shoppes and is serving up its signature dishes from the robata grill alongside its famous rolls, sashimi and entrées. This is the fifth concept for hospitality veterans Tina Wang and Chef Jason Zheng, who also own Coco Sushi Lounge and Bar in Delray and Saiko-I Lounge and Hibachi in Boca.
