It’s easy to get wrapped up in the hustle and bustle of the holiday season, especially when it comes to events and the dreaded “fear of missing out.” If you’re looking to get into the holiday spirit or fulfill that missing “holiday feel,” it’s not too late. Today’s article will spotlight all of the local events you still have time to attend. So get out your iCalendars and start scheduling accordingly because you have just over two weeks to get it all in.

Delray Beach / Boynton Beach Holiday Boat Parade

Delray Beach + Boynton Beach’s 48th annual Holiday Boat Parade will take place at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, December 13th. Decorated boats can be viewed from Veterans Park and Knowles Park and along the parade course that starts in Boynton Beach sailing along the Intracoastal Waterway.

Where: Intercoastal Waterway

Delray Beach Holiday Parade

The Delray Beach Holiday Parade will take place at 6 p.m. on Saturday, December 14th on Atlantic Ave. This year’s theme is Comic-Con. Over 70 floats, marching bands and walking groups will march along Atlantic Ave. What better way to get into the holiday spirit in South Florida?!

Where: Atlantic Ave. from A1A to NW 5th Ave

Jingle Bell Jog

The Jingle Bell Jog! A 5K Where all runners receive a Santa Suit Costume, and a pair of Jingle Bells for their shoes! Santas take over A1A in Delray Saturday, December 14th at 7:30 am and it’s quite a sight to see and hear!

Where: 50 NW 1st Ave, Delray Beach, FL

Boca Raton Holiday Boat Parade

South Florida is all about the boat parades during the holidays, and why shouldn’t we be? The Boca Raton Holiday Boat Parade is a wonderful event put on by the U.S. Marines’ Toys for Tots drive to benefit needy children in our area. Sea Tow boats will be traveling the parade looking for dockside donations on Sunday, December 15th, 2010, at 6:30pm.

Where: Intracoastal Waterway starting at the C-15 canal (Boca Raton-Delray Beach city limits) traveling south to Hillsboro Bridge.

“A Christmas Carol” at Mizner Park

Can you fully celebrate the holiday season without seeing “A Christmas Carol?” Our answer is no, and the Mizner Park Cultural Arts Centre agrees because they will be showing “A Christmas Carol” December 19th at 7:30 pm. This will help you get into the spirit of giving while giving you all the “holiday feels” you have been looking for.

Where: 201 Plaza Real Boca Raton, Florida 33429

Boca Raton Bowl

In “un-holiday” related news, the Boca Raton Bowl is back, this year in PRIME TIME! The 2019 edition will kick off at 3:30 p.m. ET on Saturday, December 21, and will be televised on ABC. As two girls heavily into football, we think this is a pretty big deal for the city of Boca Raton.

Where: FAU Stadium 777 Glades Rd, Boca Raton, FL

It’s the most wonderful time of the year, so we hope today’s post will get you further into the holiday spirit and fulfill what you’re looking to achieve this season in sunny South Florida.
