A new group of lucky finalists have been selected for Impact 100 Palm Beach County’s next season of giving.
The 12 finalists were announced during a cocktail party at Neiman Marcus at Town Center mall; winners will be announced April 23 and will each receive a $100,000 grant. Runners-up are eligible for a merit grant.
The women of Impact 100 each donate $1,000 per year to go toward a collective pool of grants that are distributed to winners voted upon by members. They’ll begin voting on their top picks April 14 and the winners will be announced during the Grand Awards Celebration at Boca West Country Club on April 23. The nonprofits also have a chance to make a presentation during the celebration.
“Impact 100 Palm Beach County continues to prove the power of collective giving,” Kimberly Boldt, co-president, said in a press release. “By joining forces, our members help fund transformative projects that leave a lasting impact on our community.”
Now in its 14th year, the group has collected more than $6.8 million in grant money from its members, benefiting 112 community organizations.
