Oceans 234 (234 N. Ocean Blvd., Deerfield Beach) is holding its fourth annual Clothes Off Our Back fundraiser Thursday, Aug. 29, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
The event benefits Women in Distress, the only full service domestic violence center serving Broward County that is nationally accredited and state certified. Tickets are $15 and include a buffet and raffle ticket for a “staycation” in Deerfield Beach.
Organizers will be collecting gently used men’s, women’s and children’s clothing, as well as cell phones and chargers. Last year, $1,100 was raised at the event.
