Embodying the playful, spirited essence of Hermès and its commitment to preserving its artisanal legacy, the iconic Maison brings its poetic and cinematic performance, “On The Wings of Hermès,” to Miami. Following successful showings in Los Angeles, Hong Kong, Shanghai, and Singapore, South Florida audiences will have the chance to experience Hermès in an entirely new light from April 18 – 27.
“On the Wings of Hermès” transports audiences into an imaginary universe conceptualized and created by the Belgian duo of director Jaco Van Dormael and choreographer Michele Anne De Mey. The cinematic performance also features the Astragales dance company.

“This work metaphorically illustrates the lightness that is omnipresent at Hermès: in the delicate hands of our craftsmen sewing with two needles at once; in the elegance of materials, and in the subtle notes of a perfume. It is an experience which sparks the imagination, designed by artisans of dreams,” says Hermès Artistic Director Pierre-Alexis Dumas.
In a mesmerizing fusion of dance, object theatre, music, and film, the audience is immersed in a narrative that unfolds across seven unique acts, each within its own setting. These fantastical landscapes and dreamlike worlds bring Hermès objects and delicate figurines to life, dancing like elegant puppets in a fluid choreography of graceful, spinning movements. Dancers and choreographers collaborate with image and lighting experts to create a dazzling spectacle. Of course, favorites from Hermès make appearances including opera singing “Kelly” bags in a mini circus.

You’re invited to a visual symphony that sparks the senses and fuels creativity, enveloping the audience in a harmonious blend of sight, sound, and motion that stirs the imagination.
