Fans of “Law & Order” can graduate from armchair detective to the courtroom.

The League of Women Voters of Palm Beach County is hosting the Was It Murder? mock trial with a historical mystery that the public is invited to help solve.

Set in the historic courthouse in West Palm Beach, the home of the Historical Society of Palm Beach County, League members will play different roles (you might be invited to, as well!) in the court case that you will be tasked to decide: guilty or not guilty.

Check in for the event is on the third floor of the Historic Courthouse, 300 N. Dixie Highway, West Palm Beach, and a light jacket or sweater is recommended for the courtroom. Light bites and wine will be served from 5:30 to 6 p.m. with the trial running from 6 to 8 p.m.
