Dishes from pheasant pate and shrimp cocktail to wild boar rib chop and potato-lentil pani puri are all on the wildly eclectic menu of the new Patio Delray (800 Palm Trail, 561/279-0880), a bright, sunny cafe from the husband-and-wife team of Dirk and Lily Buccheit.
The former Pineapple Grill on the Intracoastal has been turned into a colorful dining spot with outdoor patio (where there’s occasional live jazz), tile-floored bar and dining room lined with the vivid, large-scale photographs of Boca Raton resident Dr. Mark Widick.
The restaurant is open for dinner daily, with a 4 to 7 p.m. happy hour.
