From the culinary minds behind Ravish Off Ocean comes Pomona, now open in Lake Worth Beach.
Inspired by the Roman goddess of abundance, Pomona brings the bounty of the land and sea to each dish using fresh, locally sourced ingredients. The theme of abundance extends to the restaurant’s design, with the deep, lush greens of vegetation married with warm gold bathed in soft light, creating a vibe that is as elegant as it is welcoming.
Chef Johnny DeMartini brings over menu favorites from his Ravish kitchen like the ceviche and smash burger and adds a variety of elevated comfort dishes including house-brined fried chicken (available by the bucket to share), mac and cheese in a creamy smoked gouda sauce, and a footlong wagyu hot dog loaded with shredded cabbage, bacon and potato sticks. Casual fare shares the menu with globally-inspired plates like the miso corn bucatini carbonara—topped with crispy pork belly and spicy parmesan breadcrumbs and drizzled with chili oil—and crispy beef lo mein.

Pomona will celebrate its grand opening on Aug. 28 from 5 to 8 p.m. with a ribbon cutting ceremony, a live DJ spinning vinyl, complimentary drinks and light bites, and a gift card raffle. Reservations are encouraged. Happy hour runs daily from 3 to 6 p.m. plus a late night happy hour from 10 p.m. to close, with specials including $6 margaritas and espresso martinis and select appetizers like the green goddess dip and spare ribs for $7. Starting on Aug. 30, Pomona will start opening early at 11:30 a.m. on weekends for football season and offer gameday specials.
