There is no shortage of collaborations between brands, made even more interesting when two unpredictable forces unite. Then, magic happens! The union between beloved Parisian fashion brand AMI and new lifestyle sport brand Reserve Padel is a winning match that leaves you wanting more.
Over the next two weeks, AMI has taken over the three outdoor padel courts at Reserve Padel in the Miami Design District, with its special Ami de Coeur logo adorning lawns, nets, and glasses, not to mention an exclusive padel line of branded rackets, balls and towels for Reserve Padel members to enjoy. After a great workout, refresh and refuel with beverages at Le Café AMI, exuding the inclusive Parisian vibe of the Maison.

Honestly speaking, I went into this experience not knowing much about the game of padel. I was also guilty of not pronouncing it properly (pah-DEL). Now, not only is my pronunciation on point, I am hooked on the game that is the perfect combination of tennis and squash.
In need of a padel partner, I rallied mon ami Reagan Heidelberg to join me for a fun afternoon of style and sport. For our inaugural beginners’ lesson with Reserve Padel partner and elite pro Gabi Meana, we were joined by AMI North America President Raphael Vidal. After an hour of learning a handful of key playing fundamentals, we have become new padel enthusiasts while swooning over AMI’s sophisticated, understated elegance—signs of an ideal and successful collaboration. Together, AMI and Reserve Padel are tapping into new brand adopters through a creative, authentic and unforced approach.

On that note, merci to AMI for the introduction to padel with a chic Parisian flair. We can’t wait for our next lesson at Reserve Padel followed by a visit to the AMI Miami boutique conveniently located right next door.
Check out this stylish and sportive pop-up, now until Nov. 30.
