Rod Stewart will entertain at the Boca Raton Regional Hospital Ball!

The Boca Hospital Foundation has done it again—the gala with the best entertainment every year has outdone itself: This year it is bringing Rod Stewart to Boca.

Make that Sir Rod Stewart, knighted in 2016 for his work in music and charities, but the same Rod Stewart we have loved since the 1960s and 1970s, starting with the Jeff Beck Group and Faces and launching a parallel solo career in 1969. In 1994, Stewart staged the largest free rock concert in history when he performed in front of 3.5 million people in Rio de Janeiro.

In the early 2000s, he released a series of successful albums interpreting the Great American Songbook, in a career that has evolved as he has aged, with steady success and impressive accolades and awards.

These include: six consecutive number one albums in the UK, 16 top ten singles in the US, a 2008 ranking by Billboard magazine as the 17th most successful artist on the “Billboard Hot 100 All-Time Top Artists; number 33 in Q Magazine’s list of the Top 100 Greatest Singers of all time and #59 on Rolling Stone’s 100 Greatest Singers of all time.

Stewart was inducted into the US Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1994, the UK Music Hall of Fame in 2006, and was inducted a second time into the US Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2012 as a member of Faces.

The Boca Raton Regional Hospital Ball, always a sell-out, is slated for Saturday, Feb. 22, 2020 at the Boca Raton Resort & Club.
