After nearly 25 years in Mizner Park, the Boca Raton location of Ruth’s Chris Steak House will soon be closed. The famed steakhouse will shut its doors on May 11, giving locals a few more weeks to make a reservation to enjoy its sizzling premium cuts.

Part of the portfolio of concepts owned by hospitality giant Darden Restaurants—which also owns Eddie V’s, The Capital Grille, Olive Garden, and more—Ruth’s Chris was purchased by the firm in 2023. A representative from Darden said, “Closing this restaurant is a difficult business decision, and it’s one we made very carefully and thoughtfully, particularly because it impacts our team members and our guests.” There are no plans to close any other Florida locations at this time.
