The wine-on-tap restaurant is honoring Mother Nature and celebrating sustainability all month with several events for wine enthusiasts. Thanks to its steel kegs, the chain of nine restaurants estimates that it saves more than 300,000 bottles, corks and labels annually from landfills.
On Saturday, April 20, its Brunch & Learn (11 a.m. – 2 p.m.) will feature a sustainability sommelier visiting guests at their tables to answer any sustainability questions and share information on the impact of wine kegs.
On Monday, April 22, the restaurant will host its Sustainable Sips Wine Social (5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.), which will feature complimentary wine tastings paired with light bites.
Finally, from Saturday, April 20, to Monday, April 22, the restaurant is asking patrons to bring in a bag of corks to recycle and receive a complimentary 5-ounce glass of wine. For those looking to donate gently used clothing, the restaurant has partnered with Palm Beach County nonprofit Networking to Help Children and its network of local charities that it helps through grants.
