A pair of hellos and goodbyes in this weeks Small Bites. . .
Say hello to Kelsey City Bar & Grill (1301 10th St., 561/848-6208), a sports bar with all the usual sports bar fixin’s that’s opened in the Lake Park space formerly home to Someplace restaurant. Kelsey’s website also promises a September opening in Palm Beach Gardens, complete with 14 big-screen TVs, billiards, darts and other stuff.
Also say hi to El Sabor Latino (4391 Northlake Blvd., 561/202-6948) in its new space in Northmil Plaza in Palm Beach Gardens. All your pan-Latin favorites are there, from huevos rancheros and chicken quesadillas to arroz con pollo and ropa vieja to arepas con chorizo and shrimp ceviche.
Wave bye-bye to a pair of local eateries. Raindancer Steakhouse, has gone to meat, er. . . meet its maker after 36 years in West Palm Beach. Lasting barely longer than 36 days was Caliente Kitchenin Boynton Beach, a sibling of the Caliente on Atlantic Avenue in Delray. You know what they say about heat and kitchens. . .
