The rich flavors of the Deep South have made their way to downtown Pompano Beach with the debut of South Bar & Kitchen. Featuring dishes infused with the Cajun and Creole tastes of Louisiana, South Bar & Kitchen’s menu offers no shortage of Southern comfort food selections with scratch-made flavors, spices and marinades. Highlights include the crispy fried boudin balls stuffed with rice and spicy cajun pork, fresh baked buttermilk biscuits served up with seasonal jams, and the Craw Daddy, a noodle dish slathered in cajun crawfish cream sauce with smoked gouda and topped with crispy tail meat and green onions.

Opt for alfresco seating and check out the patio bar fashioned from a shipping container and painted over by local artists. While you’re at it, enjoy a signature cocktail like the Old Town Fashioned, a bourbon-based concoction made with Knob Creek Rye, prickly pear, citrus, cranberry, spicy bitters and sage.
