Internist-Concierge Medicine
Christine Crocker earned a bachelor’s degree in English literature before she became a physician. Her decision to devote her professional life to the practice of medicine was inspired by her infant daughter’s illness. “My experience with the medical team in charge of my daughter’s care inspired me to pursue medicine as a career. I completed my residency in Pittsburgh and built a thriving practice in my hometown. It was truly the best decision for me, my family, and my career,” explains Dr. Crocker.
Q. What is the foundation of your doctor/patient relationship at Marquis MD?
A. I create partnerships with patients. I build trust which allows us to focus on outcomes. My ultimate goal is always to make the patient feel heard, as this is integral to ensuring that the work we do together improves not only their health, but also their lives.
Q. What distinguishes your level of care?
A. My goal is to understand patients’ data and address it in a way that their physical, emotional and psychological needs are treated and managed optimally. This is the diff erence between having a patient who feels healthy, but not very well, and a patient who feels not just healthy, but also well.
Q. What specialized scope of services do you provide?
A. Besides managing complex medical conditions, I optimize preventative care by focusing on the areas of functional and longevity medicine, women’s and men’s hormonal health and weight management. I utilize advanced medical testing like VO2 Max measurement, continuous glucose monitoring, body composition testing, extensive biomarker panels, genetic testing, and more.
