Better keep your eyes open at this year’s Palm Beach Food & Wine Festival or you’ll be tripping over some of the country’s hottest celebrity chefs.

Set at venues all over town for Dec. 9 to 13, the fifth annual orgy of food and wine has ramped up from one to five days, and is bringing in a pretty impressive roster of culinary talent (who can’t be all that upset about spending a week in sunny SoFla when the rest of the country is freezing their toques off).

Among the culinary luminaries to be participating: Daniel Boulud, Scott Conant, David Burke, Clay Conley, Michael Schwartz and Michelle Bernstein. Among the highlights: an evening with host John Mariani at The Breakers feature David Burke, Michael Schwartz and Scott Conant; and the finale, the grand tasting at 150 Worth Avenue with a Grand Chef Throwdown.

If all that makes you want to run right out and buy tickets, keep your chef’s coat on. They don’t go on sale until Oct. 1, at prices ranging from $150 to $250.
