Omakase purveyor Sushi by Boū is celebrating another Palm Beach County expansion, with its third local outpost debuting in Lake Worth Beach today.
The new location—tucked inside Benny’s on the Beach Oceanwalk—has a vibe much more beach-y than its other more sultry, speakeasy-inspired spaces, with rattan seats, vibrant pink and blue accents, feathery chandeliers, an electric blue tile bar, and festive, mermaid-themed decor. Guests are seated at a 14-seat sushi bar where they can watch the chefs meticulously craft each course.
For the uninitiated, omakase translates to “I’ll leave it up to you,” which in practice means a dining experience that ditches the menus in favor of multiple courses curated by the chef. At Sushi by Boū, guests can opt for either a 12- or 17-course tasting menu of fresh nigiri prepared in a variety of creative ways.

During our visit, we sampled everything on the 12-course tasting menu, including a lightly torched cod coated with rich miso, a seared slice of tender wagyu beef topped with sea urchin, salmon caviar that literally burst with umami flavor, and much more.
The omakase experience at Sushi by Boū runs about an hour, with the 12-course menu priced at $65 or the 17-course “bougie” menu priced at $125, which comes with additional seasonal courses. The 12 courses include creative preparations of yellowtail, lean tuna, chopped tuna, spotted prawn, salmon roe, albacore, scallop, miso cod, fatty tuna, salmon, surf and turf (wagyu beef and sea urchin), and barbecue eel. Hand rolls and other á la carte specialties are also available by request.

Pair your omakase experience with a Sushi by Boū signature cocktail like the bourbon-forward Yuzu Honey Bee and the Shiso Southsider made with Suntory Haku Japanese vodka, or take your pick from a selection of sweet, dry and cloudy sakes.
