Think back to one of your most memorable meals. Something stuck and made an impression on you, even weeks, or years later. Was it the company? The decor and ambiance? The food? (We hope this is a given.)
Sweetwater Bar & Grill in Boynton is hosting its second season of cocktail concept dinners, lovingly nicknamed “Dinner for Schmucks.” Under the direction of creative guru Sean Iglehart and his amazing crew, each dinner is a five-course extravaganza paired with five over-the-top cocktails and a theme to tie everything together.
February’s “Dinner for Schumucks” theme was Ancient Ports of the World, where guests toured the globe tasting various port wines. March was the HBO Series: food and drink centered around HBO shows including “True Blood,” “Sex and the City,” “Game of Thrones,” “VEEP,” “Curb Your Enthusiasm,” and “The Sopranos.” I had the privilege of attending, and I was completely amazed. Dinner for Schmucks concludes in April, with Flora & Fauna: A Floridian Adventure. All ingredients will be locally sourced, and you’re in for a real treat. Iglehart and the gang do an incredible job, from every table detail to each ingredient pairing The good news is there’s still time to RSVP. April concept dinners will be held:
