Just about everything that’s good to eat and drink in Palm Beach County will be ripe for the taking at the third annual Taste of the Nation Palm Beach, the food and wine extravaganza that benefits Share Our Strength’s No Kid Hungry campaign.Hosting this year’s event at WPB’s Kravis Center for the Performing Arts, are Clay Conley, Zach Bell, Allen Susser and new addition, Lindsay Autry. Expect dishes from more than 40 local restaurants, plus wines, beers, cocktails, live music, and live and silent auctions. Among the participating eateries are Café Boulud, Casa D’Angelo, Dada, Max’s Harvest, Talay Thai and The Sugar Monkey.
Tickets for the bash, set for 6:30 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, June 20, are now on sale. (You can get ‘em here.) General admission tickets are $90, while VIP tix, which get you into a private lounge, plus special drinks, a goody bag and admission to the event after-party, are $150, with 100 percent of ticket sales going to SOS. And that really is a good thing.
