Get out your racquets, because three tennis pros will be meeting you on the court to help raise money for Sofia’s Hope, a local nonprofit serving families with a child diagnosed with cancer.

No matter if you’re a pro or new to the game, No. 55 WTA player Yulia Putintseva will be leading the clinic alongside rising stars Martin Damm, Jr. and Rachel Gailis. Participants can expect an engaging afternoon with the LiveGiveLove Foundation, which is hosting the event, as well as a silent auction, fast serve competition, and open bar and food.

September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. According to the American Cancer Society, about 10,000 children are diagnosed each year; the most common diagnosis is leukemia.

The clinic is this Saturday, Sept. 6 from 11 a.m. to 2 .m. at One Tennis Academy, 9045 Vista Del Lago in Boca Raton. Tickets for participants is $200, $125 for spectators, and of course donations are welcome. Participants should bring their own tennis racquet.
