It’s almost here! The Junior League of Boca Raton’s 2020 Woman Volunteer of the Year event will take place virtually on November 13.

While this year’s WVOY may look different than it has in the past–we already miss the annual luncheon that traditionally has taken place at the Boca Raton Resort and Club–it’s still one of the most anticipated events of the season.

The theme of this year’s event will be “Honoring the History of Women Volunteers,” and in a break from tradition, the event will look back at the history of women volunteers while celebrating and honoring all 685 WVOY nominees throughout the years rather than naming one 2020 winner.

While the event is slated for Nov. 13, its silent auction is already active, and features a number of exciting bundles and packages that include Invisalign and a high-end men’s package. There will also be mystery bundles in the silent auction, which will include at least three items such as beauty products, technology and home décor and have a minimum value of $75. The silent auction can be found here.

The live auction will include exceptional prizes that include a stay at the newly redone Boca Raton Club at the Beach Club (formerly the Boca Raton Resort), a 4 night stay at L’Habitation in Key West with a day at sea on North America’s only solar powered yacht, and a Saks shopping and styling experience with a value of $3,000.

Robin Deyo is the 2020 Woman Volunteer of the Year honorary chair, and Yvette Drucker and Nancy Walsh are the event’s co-chairs. Take a look below to see our Boca Goes Live interview with this year’s co-chairs.

The event’s primary sponsor is the Junior League’s 1971 Society, along with support from sponsors Boca magazine, the Boca Raton Regional Hospital Foundation, the Lynn Women’s Health and Wellness Institute, and Saks Fifth Avenue.
