In celebration of its centennial, The Addison has launched a campaign to raise $100,000 for local nonprofits.
Like the City of Boca Raton, The Addison is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year. Originally opened in 1925 as the headquarters for architect Addison Mizner’s development company, the building has since enjoyed a storied history as a venue space for weddings and celebrations and is now listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
“The Addison has always been rooted in service—not just to our guests, but to the community,” said The Addison Vice President Zoe Lanham in a press release. “As we celebrate 100 years of history, we’re proud to give back in a way that amplifies the mission-driven work of our local nonprofits. These grants are about legacy, impact, and shaping the next 100 years together.”
The $100,000 will be divided among 10 local nonprofits from Palm Beach and Broward counties. Each nonprofit selected will be awarded a $10,000 grant that can be applied to a fundraising or awareness event hosted at The Addison this year.
Nonprofits can apply for the grants here. Applications are open now through May 23. Awardees will be announced during a ceremony on June 17 at The Addison, complete with a cocktail reception with passed hors d’oeuvres and champagne.
