Yes, you read that right. Every day in October, the bar at The Grove in Delray Beach will only be charging 10 cents for drinks.

However, there is a slight catch: they’re only doing it for 10 minutes every day from 5:30 to 5:40 p.m.

The restaurant made the announcement on Instagram on Tuesday. The Grove’s rules are that you must be seated or standing at the bar during the 10-minute time period, and eligible drinks include red and white wine, beer and well cocktails.

The restaurant opened off Delray Beach’s busy Atlantic Avenue in 2012 with Chef Michael Haycook at the helm—you might recognize him from our September/October cover of Delray magazine—but even so, the bar has only been open for about two years.

“It’s just something we came up with to drum up more business,” says Paul Strike, co-owner of The Grove. “Our bar is still fairly new and people are just learning about our bar.”

According to some quick Googling on our part, you weren’t anywhere close to buying a beer for 10 cents back in the ’50s, so this is a seriously good deal you don’t want to miss out on.

Meet you at The Grove!
